I studied composition at the University of Vermont under Patricia Julienne PhD and Frederico Cortese at Harvard University. I am a jazz bassist but these works reflect my compositions and arranging. We formed the original Hanomi Duo with Hitomi Honda on piano and Hannah Selin, PhD on viola and recorded with Peter Karl in Brooklyn, NY. We added Ansel Cohen on cello to form a trio in 2024. In 2026 the band has been renamed as Flat Baroque in order to bring on other voices.
